27 : Road to Paradise

A channel dive of the superlative. It is a fantastic experience to dive here in incoming south east currents. The diving site lies to the east of Dharaboodhoo house reef, in the south of the atoll. The dive begins with an easy drift. Eagle rays and huge schools of perch/rock cod/grouper accompany you on your way to the coral formations which stand out separately in 25 - 33 metres. An endless sea of soft corals stretches out before you in this underwater landscape. Back at the house reef there is a majestic drop off, 2-33 Meters, with caves in all imaginable sizes,
beautifully decorated with soft corals and anemones and host to huge colourful schools of fusiliers
and snapper.
